Operations & Fulfillment Lead

FULL-TIME · YEAR-ROUND
$23–$26/hour based on experience

We're looking for an organized, proactive and hands-on person to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of Le Chocolatier.

This is a key role within our team, responsible for keeping our shop, inventory, packaging and order fulfillment running smoothly.

You'll be responsible for:

• Day-to-day retail shop operations

• Inventory and stock management

• Routine purchasing and stock shopping

• Receiving and organizing deliveries

• Online, wholesale, hotel, Airbnb and corporate orders

• Shipping and local delivery preparation

• Chocolate packaging and finished-product inventory

• Retail merchandising and presentation

• Opening and closing procedures

• Coordinating daily priorities and workflow

• Supporting and training retail and packaging staff

• Identifying problems and finding practical solutions

• Improving systems and processes as the business grows

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in retail, hospitality, food production, fulfillment or operations

• Is highly organized and detail-oriented

• Takes ownership and initiative

• Can prioritize and stay calm when things get busy

• Communicates clearly and respectfully

• Is comfortable working independently

• Has strong customer service skills

• Is reliable and accountable

• Enjoys hands-on work

• Notices what needs doing and takes action

• Wants to contribute ideas and improve the way things are done

Previous supervisory or leadership experience is an asset. Inventory, purchasing, Shopify, POS, food production and specialty retail experience are also valuable.

Retail & Packaging Associate

PART-TIME · YEAR-ROUND
$19–$21/hour based on experience

We're looking for a friendly, reliable and detail-oriented person to join our team in a hands-on role combining chocolate packaging, order fulfillment, retail and customer service.

You'll work closely with our chocolate production and operations teams to make sure our chocolates are beautifully prepared, accurately packaged and ready for our customers.

You'll be responsible for:

• Packaging and labelling chocolates

• Preparing bars, boxes, gift sets and seasonal collections

• Preparing wholesale and corporate orders

• Picking and packing online orders

• Preparing shipments and local deliveries

• Maintaining finished-product inventory

• Restocking and merchandising the retail shop

• Welcoming and helping customers

• Assisting with chocolate tastings and visitor experiences

• Operating the POS

• Helping with opening and closing procedures

• Maintaining a clean, organized and inviting shop

• Supporting the team during busy periods

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous customer service, retail, hospitality, food service or similar experience

• Is friendly and confident with customers

• Is reliable and punctual

• Has excellent attention to detail

• Takes pride in presentation

• Can work efficiently while maintaining quality

• Enjoys hands-on work

• Is comfortable standing for extended periods

• Is comfortable lifting and moving boxes and supplies

• Is curious and excited to learn about chocolate

• Can work independently once trained

• Takes initiative

• Works well as part of a small team

Experience in specialty food, bakery, chocolate, café, hospitality, POS, fulfillment or food safety is an asset.

What we offer:
